We often realize this a little too late, and study something we were taught pays a lot or what mommy likes. So how to actually find what you love? Start with listing your current skills, natural talents, interests, and work values. There are thousands of assessment tools out there for you to play with. Use the conclusions as input for your career exploration. Research different industries that fit your interests, companies that match your work values, and roles where you can utilize your skills. Now you can establish a vision of something you really love.
Then it is time to make a career plan to actually get there. Try to keep things realistic with clear goals and timeframes. Attach those to an actionable plan with specific steps you need to take to reach your goals and the world is yours!
